경기도 포천에 위치한 주택 리모델링 의뢰를 받고 잠시 여름동안 한국에 있습니다. 한 때 듀플렉스 하우스(Duplex House)로 사용되다 8년간 방치된 두 세대를 하나의 집으로 변형하고자 하는 새로운 시도입니다. 요즘 각광받고 있는 듀플렉스 하우스가 급격히 바뀌는 소비 사회에 맞게 새롭게 변형될 수 있는 가능성을 제안하는 프로토타입이 되지 않을까 싶습니다. 계속해서 G House에 대한 업데이트 올리도록 하겠습니다.
Currently in Korea during this summer for the housing remodeling project in Gyeonggido. This duplex house was once used by two families, but was abandoned for the last eight years. As duplex houses are getting popular in Korea, this project will propose a new prototype that can show the transformed typology of duplex house in fulfilling of people's new needs.
