7월 시작과 함께 공사도 예정대로 시작하게 되었습니다. 철거공사를 시작으로 두 세대를 나누는 조적 벽들을 철거하고 기본 실내 구조 공사를 순조롭게 진행했습니다. 다만, 장마시즌과 맞물리면서 현장소장과 함께 걱정과 많은 스트레스에 시달렸었지만 다행히 오늘 방수공사를 마무리 지을 수가 있어서 한시름 놓습니다. 디자인에서 의도했던 공간의 느낌이 실제로도 나타나기 시작해서 기분이 좋네요. 새로운 흰 벽의 마감과 세월을 머금은 그대로 느낌의 조적벽의 대비...긴 복도 끝에서 밝게 흩뿌려주는 빛...
오랜만의 톱밥냄새, 타카소리, 톱다이 소리...
The construction started as it was planned on the first day of July. Starting with demolishing work, the masonry walls that divided the two houses were demolished and continued with interior structure works. There was a big concern with the construction because of the monsoon season in Korea, but was relieved after all the waterproof work on the roof was finished. The space itself started to show the intention of the original design, as it showed the contrast of the new walls and the 23-year old masonry walls, and the scattering light far at the end of the long corridor...
It's been a while...the sawdust smell, the sound of the nail gun and the saw table...
